**Regional Sales Manager South Europe Travel Retail**
**Position purpose**:
This person will be working very closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Director of Western Europe Travel Retail, the area's Marketing Activator (MA), the area's Finance Manager, the central Global Travel Retail functions and is responsible for all aspects of territory management and field force deployment for Spain Mainland TR, Canary Island TR and Portugal TR.
This person will establish very close links with the Travel Retail Operators/Key Accounts and distributors and manage the implementation of consumer & trade marketing programs and operational commercial activities (i.e. IPAs). He/She will monitor the implementation of KPIs, and competitive activities. He/She develops and implements (key) account plans and agreements and monitors (key) account compliance.
He/She will coordinate training for JTI Travel Retail Representatives with the support of the regional Marketing Activation Team and Retail Representative Global Travel Retail central team.
This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of his/her territory, including P&L owner, Marketing Budget, Planning, Portfolio, Pricing and Commercial strategy development and implementation, Forecast, Compliance and Customer engagement.
**What will you do** - responsibilities**:
- Market/area P&L targets achievement
- AP and SP plan development and alignment for the assigned territory, establishing the rolling forecast, and LE input. In conjunction with other regional functions responsible for the assigned territory sales analysis and planning manager and marketing budget planning manager, investing, phasing/savings management maximizing the efficiency of the company's investment
- Responsible for direct interface and relationship management with customers, trade and respective Domestic markets for optimal, strategic alignment. Ensuring document flow (contracts, invoices etc.) and sales integrity procedures (LMD, KYC etc.) compliance for the assigned territory
- Responsible for effective implementation of sales, distribution, and through-the-line marketing strategies including development and implementation of Portfolio and Pricing strategies, merchandising, shelf-space, and promotional programs. Monitors progress, and recommends corrective action where necessary. Responsible for executional KPI monitoring and reporting results to the RSM and RSD, including but not limited to sales volume, pricing, stock management and brand listings. Being responsible for discovering and implementing JTI business opportunities by analyzing Strategic Insights data and market/passenger developments
- In conjunction with the line manager and support functions, initiates/terminates 3rd party relationships (contracts) regarding in-store promotional and advertising activities
- Responsible for territory management, and field force deployment decisions as well as coaching, developing and motivating outsourced personnel (where applicable). Responsible for field intelligence and data gathering through the sales force automation tool provided (TME)
**Who are we looking for - requirements**:
- University degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience in sales & distribution/channel management/field trade marketing
- Experience in consumer/trade promotions management. Preferably within the FMCG/Travel Retail industry with Key Account Management experience
- Cross-functional and travel retail experience is an advantage
- Fluent in Spanish & English, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- SAP, TM1, PBI, and TEAMS knowledge will be a plus
- Excel skills: medium/high level, capacity to deal with large data
- Financial, Negotiation Skills, Process/Project Management
- Decision-making, analysis & problem-solving, team player skills
