As a Senior Account Executive at Open Text you help customers use information to grow faster and be more efficient& secure in an increasingly Digital World. You are part of a global team of highly skilled and entrepreneurial professionals who understand that their customers are experiencing unprecedented change.
Your customers trust your judgment to help them solve their most pressing business problems and to support them in their journey to the cloud and to become a digital enterprise. You will stop at nothing to help them find the right solution to positively impact the business, improve their most important business processes, or reduce their risks.
You are comfortable with complex sales cycles. Your track record of successful attainment of your targets in the cyber security industry will be rewarded with one of the most competitive compensation packages in the industry.
**What kind of work would you be doing?**
- Develops long term sales pipeline to increase the company's market share in Cyber Security.
- Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities for customer value by expanding and enhancing existing opportunities to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit in specialty area.
- Provide support to the Account managers.
- Set direction for business development and solution replication.
- Sell complex cyber security products or solutions to customers on a partnership basis.
- Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, including the C- level for mid-to-large accounts by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
- Maintain and use overall cross-portfolio knowledge to support account leads with integration of solutions.
- Maintains broad market and competitor knowledge to ensure credibility with Customer Executives.
**What achievements should you have so far?**
- Directly related previous work experience within Cyber Security Sales
- Deep understanding of Cyber Security practices
- Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota diversity of business customer, and higher level customer interface.
- Prior selling experience includes multiple, diverse set of selling responsibilities.
- Viewed as expert in given field by company and customer.
- Considered a mentor of selling strategy, including designing strategy.
