**Job Purpose**

The Head of Pricing and Analytics is responsible for leading and developing the Pricing and Analytics team, and for the delivery of the budget revenues of the whole network.

**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**
- Brings in airline pricing and revenue management experience and best practices, preferably from an LCC/ULCC model.
- Manages, inspires, and leads a team of 4 staff by engaging them and creating an open, flexible, and entrepreneurial work environment.
- Embeds an agile data driven culture, based on collaboration, curiosity, and active learning, focused on achievement of goals, growth, and delivery.
- Models the VY culture and values as a role model.
- Responsible for setting and delivering budget revenue targets and company financial objectives.
- Analyses and quantifies the revenue impact of strategic changes to prices, significant promotional or fare change initiatives, and other commercial initiatives that affect revenue.
- Takes accountability for the commercial VY Transform projects including the full adoption of new tech solutions while reducing risks, adapting processes, and delivering results.
- Delivers company, commercial and team KPIs, setting best practice standards and continuous improvement including but not limited to fare structure optimization, promotional pricing, fare distribution, and commercial analysis. This includes close collaboration with relevant stakeholders company wide.
- Proactively communicates risks and opportunities at all levels from Sr. Management to analysts, including diagnosis and action plans.
- Formulates and executes adaptive market strategies including the development and resourcing of existing and new capabilities to improve performance in collaboration with the other areas.
- Creates and develops growth tactics to disrupt the market and create more value to our core customers and stakeholders based on our business model.
- Improves productivity and efficiency through automation, better tools, reports, and digitalization.

Prepares the organization with capabilities and platforms for the pricing of the future, integrates KPIs, automation, data system methodology and continuous improvement

**Main Relationships**
- Internally: Head of Inventory, Head of RM Systems, All commercial directors and managers, Revenue Optimization, all commercial areas, IT, Data, Operations, network, transformation, finance, HR and Legal.
- Externally: IAG, other OPCOS, service providers.

**Education**

University Degree in economics, business management, or any engineering/math/statistics field or other relevant field.

**Experience**

Experience: 6-8+ years of Pricing experience, at least 3 leading teams.

**Competencies**
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, humble and proactive, eager to always learn and able to adapt to constant change. Positive, team player, reliable, and resourceful.
- Experience working in complex organizations, managing conflict, and influencing stakeholders through all levels. Analytical mentality.

**Languages**
- Fluent in English.
- Fluency in or business knowledge of Spanish an advantage.

Ability to travel if required.
