**Job Purpose**:
Senior Business Development role responsible for translating vendor/technology growth plans internally and to drive them in specific strategic segments. Aligned with marketing on MDF and with the wider sales organisation on specialized opportunities

**Accountabilities**:
The main accountabilities for this role are to grow profitable market share by executing the Business Unit strategy in full alignment under clear managerial direction

**Excellent negotiation **skills dealing with key tenders and large deals with complete knowledge of all job functions and broad industry best practices, techniques and standards.
**D**
**rive sales **out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendor identification, on-boarding and other business development initiatives

Take solution and service offerings to market including TaaS and ownership of quarterly vendor business planning and execution. Driving overall
**vendor management **and promote long term value based customer engagement

Relationship and engagement with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the
**"Trusted Advisor" By developing tailored customer value propositions **against clear understanding of customer business requirements. Lastly m aintaining a Full knowledge of assigned Vendor's product / service line

**Knowledge Skills and Experience**:
We are looking for an experiences
**Senior Business Development Manager, **who has strong experience within the
**IT industry** and with
**Hardware and or Peripherals**. Someone who also has very strong
**communication **skills, both oral and written and good emotional intelligence. The ideal person for this role should have 5+ years of
**experience in the IT industry** with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background and have a clear understanding and strong orientation towards and
**experience in services and solution selling **with strategic planning and business case development skills and experience.

Someone who is able to create and conduct formal presentations and interact effectively with all levels of management, negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively, while at the same time
**thinking outside of the box**. someone who is able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards, while conducting internal and external business activities.
**B**
**uild solid, effective working relationships with others**.
- **5 Years experience in the IT industry** (**a must**)
- Strong** Excel and Power Point** skills (a must)
- Experience with** hardware or peripherals**:

- High level of **English **(required) Other EU Languages (a plus)
