Job Purpose:

As a Senior Business Manager in our Peripherals BU at TD SYNNEX, you'll lead the translation and implementation of vendor and technology growth plans across strategic segments. Collaborating closely with marketing on Market Development Funds (MDF) and with the broader sales team on specialized opportunities, your role will be pivotal in profitably expanding our market share.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the translation and implementation of vendor/technology growth plans across strategic segments.
  • Collaborate with marketing on Market Development Funds (MDF) and specialized sales opportunities to expand market share profitably.
  • Negotiate key tenders and large deals with thorough knowledge of job functions and industry best practices.
  • Drive sales from the vendor portfolio, including new vendor identification and onboarding.
  • Implement effective customer engagement strategies to achieve successful business outcomes.
  • Introduce solution and service offerings to the market, including Technology as a Service (TaaS), and manage quarterly vendor business planning and execution.
  • Drive vendor management, create unique selling propositions, and promote long-term customer engagement.
  • Support sales teams to win and grow market share.
  • Ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as a trusted advisor through robust vendor and stakeholder relationships.
  • Develop tailored customer value propositions based on a clear understanding of customer business requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of assigned vendor products/services.
  • Utilize CRM tools for seamless business continuity and create compelling value propositions for 'C' level discussions to drive decision-making processes.
  • Engage in board-level activities to meet business objectives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Strong emotional intelligence with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate, persuade, and influence favorable business outcomes in 'C' level scenarios.
  • 8+ years of experience in the IT industry at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background.
  • Experience in services and solution selling, strategic planning, and business case development.
  • Ability to work within a matrix structure, with high energy and motivation.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, able to interact effectively with all management levels.
  • Strong leadership skills, creativity, assertiveness, and ability to drive tasks to completion.
  • Business planning experience with a strong operational cadence.
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Experience with peripherals.
  • High level of English (Required) Other EU Languages (a plus)
  • Occasional travel may be required.
