Your ‘day to day’

As a Regional Sales Manager you will build, guide and motivate the best B2B field sales force to achieve the RRP (reduced risk products) regional targets within the consumer journey strategy by also ensuring the needed support to conventional business.

You´ll be the key actor of “make things happen”, adapting the overall strategy to the regional consumers environment.

The key accountability is to be an excellent leader to the team of 4 directly and more than 25 indirectly where the motivation is the key. We seek an experience in leveraging teams and the strategies to the next level.

Scope is Cataluña, the second region in turnover. 20% of total volume we sell in Spain. Complex, premium region for PMI. Barcelona is a fundamental territory. Over 2200 POS.

A person with wider experience than purely sales, with experience in Trade Marketing and consumer centric business model would be a fit.

Who we’re looking for
- University Degree. MBA, “best in class” project is a plus.
- Native or near native in Spanish and fluent in English, Catalonian is a plus.
- 12-15 years of professional experience.
- Proven strong experience as a National/Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager or similar senior sales roles, ideally managing 2nd layer of supervision. Knowledge of different sales channels.
- Experience in Marketing and/or trade marketing department of at least 3-4 years would be a plus.
- Previous experience managing regional objectives setting, ensuring the achievement of the targets of the assigned teams and detecting and analyzing possible deviations by taking corrective actions. Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team.
- Excellent communication skills. Presentation skills.
- Valid EU work permit and driving license for Spanish territory.
