**Join a fast-growing, listed scaleup company with a purpose Fastned owns and operates a network of over 210+ fast charging stations across Europe, allowing electric vehicle drivers to charge their car with 100% green energy in just 15 minutes. At Fastned you will actively contribute to accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility. In this role you will drive the growth of our network in Spain as part of our goal of 1,000 fast charging stations on prime locations across Europe.
**Your role**:
As the first member of the Fastned team in Spain, you will open the Spanish market to develop our network of stations and help to bring “Freedom to the Electric Driver”. Together with a highly skilled, international team, you will help design and execute the strategy to position Fastned as a top fast charging provider in Spain. You will evaluate the potential of the market, find opportunities for us to grow, build relationships with government and private sector actors, prepare and negotiate public tenders and build commercial deals. With this role you will get the opportunity to combine strategic analysis, business development, networking abilities and negotiation skills with strong communication both externally and internally. You will work closely with the commercial development team and our international public affairs team. Being successful in this role means implementing a strong development plan for Spain while also being hands-on in creating concrete projects. You will set up a local Fastned organization and build a successful team around you. Feeding in opportunities and contributing to our European pipeline of new locations is the main goal.

This role will be based in Spain, where you will become part of the Network Expansion team, a fun and diverse group of professionals spread across Europe. You will report directly to the Head of New Markets and work under the Network Development Director. You will also provide leadership in the growing Spanish team. You will collaborate closely with other teams across our different European locations, and you will get the unique chance to learn a lot about - and become part of our future-driven industry, where you can make a real impact Electric mobility is new territory for you? No problem As part of your onboarding, you will participate in a series of exciting workshops where you will learn everything important about electric mobility and fast charging infrastructure.

**Job requirements**:
You are a convincing business developer and networker with outstanding people skills. You bring along extensive experience in high growth environments and have deep knowledge of the Spanish market in the field of mobility. You find the right balance between strategic thinking, commercial judgment and the strive to make a difference. You are a real networker, have a nose for business opportunities and you love to push projects through until success. Additionally, you tick the following boxes:

- At least 8 years of relevant work experience
- An existing network of key government and private Spanish stakeholders in energy, infrastructure, transport or e-mobility sectors and an appetite to deepen it further
- Track record of successfully building & leading experienced teams
- A strong commercial and problem-solving mindset
- A self-driven, entrepreneurial mentality while seeking advice and sparring when facing challenges
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English
- Open for regular travel within Spain and to Amsterdam
- You are highly motivated by accelerating the energy transition.
