**Partnership Services and Activation Coordinator (M/F/d)
**Job Summary**
The role will be split between partner services and activation coordination delivery, developing,
and delivering impactful partnership activations across both digital and on-site, maintaining
stakeholder relationships, managing partner reporting, and supporting partner renewals and
developments. The Partnership Services and Activation Coordinator will also be responsible for
coordinating on-site partner activations and developing detailed activation plans for the wider
EMEA series-wide partner portfolio.
**Key Responsibilities
**Partner Services**:
- Be the key point of contact for partners with the purpose of managing and delivering their
sponsorship assets in line with their business objectives, ensuring all contractual assets are
delivered to the highest standard.
- Understand the contract, develop an asset overview and service plan for each partner account.
- Schedule regular status calls or meetings based upon partner account size to ensure open and
structured communication.
- Liaise with various internal departments, including Operations, Marketing, Digital, Athlete
Services, among others, to ensure smooth delivery of the partners’ rights.
- Assist in managing any contractual changes, including renewals, revision in terms, expansion,
or deletion of territories.
- Work with Accounting and Finance departments to facilitate payments, when necessary, as well
as to flag potential financial issues.
- Deliver post-event or annual partner recap reports.
**Partner Activation Coordination**:
- Work closely with the event teams, including but not limited to, operations, logistics, athlete
services and local marketing teams to transfer all relevant Global Partnerships information for
the events.
- Coordinate the ordering of the commercial branding package for each event connecting with our
in-house graphic designers and liaising with the operations teams to order with our official
branding suppliers in EMEA.
- Coordinate expo planning communication and layouts with the operation team.
- Create branding and activation plans for each race for all partners with on-site assets.
- Coordinate with local branding manager and branding team to deliver all commercial partner
branding.
- Manage all partner activation touch points onsite including but not limited to - IRONMAN
Village, press conferences, registration, welcome functions, race day announcements, post event
activation recovery area and awards ceremonies.
- Deliver post-race activations reports.
- Attend races, including weekends, to support and represent the Global Partnerships EMEA
department in the delivery of sponsorship assets.
**Skills and competencies**
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the events industry, ideally in a sponsorship role.
- Client management and/or activations experience.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent judgment and ability to think quickly and calmly under pressure.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and team building mentality.
- Must be able to travel as required to visit partners and attend events.
