I will fully embrace, implement, safeguard and market the overall Wellness philosophy, concepts and programs such as Sleep with Six Senses, Eat With Six Senses and Grow With Six Senses platforms. All aspects of these wellness initiatives will be adopted and promoted throughout the sales and marketing functions.

**_ Sustainability_**

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. As Assistant Reservations Manager, I will ensure all directives on environmental protection and preservation, re-usage and minimum wastage, purchasing and packaging, social responsibility and all other practices documented in the Sustainability Guidelines are followed in the department to maintain a harmonious and sensitive approach to our environment and cultural surroundings, plus communicated as appropriate to our external audiences

**_ Operational Ownership_**

In this role, I will support Reservations Manager and work in partnership with other departments to ensure guest’s needs are determined/met and oversee the overall smooth operation of Reservations department.

I will be assisting our Reservations Manager in guiding and evaluating the room selling strategies, setting up the inventory availability, pricing and daily fluctuations that will be discussed with the Reservations Manager and coordinated with the reservations team for selling guidelines.

I will develop overall pricing strategies along with the Reservations Manager to ensure all target market segments are developed for the long-term benefit of the property’s business and growth.

I will have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the resort including type of rooms available as well as their location and layout, selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans, credit policy of the hotel and reservation coding. Understand the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows. Process advance deposits on reservations. Track future room availabilities based on reservations. I can determine room rates based on the selling tactics of the resort. I will oversee the management of the guest history and profile system in conjunction with the Reservations Manager.

I will continually focus on reviewing cancellations, adjustments, no-shows as well as groups, blocks and allotments. I will ensure that all set policies, procedures, best practices are in place and rigorously enforced.

I will liaise and develop sales strategies with the Reservations Manager to maximize the revenue across all revenue streams ensuring all distribution channels are optimized and correctly loaded. I will also monitor pick-up patterns, lead times, business and market trends.

An important part of the role is to interact with guests and hosts in a professional, courteous and positive manner and proactively seek feedback. I am responsible for an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. In the event of guest complaints, I will effectively carry out service recovery or charge our hosts to do so to the satisfaction of guests.

**_ Administration_**

I will ensure, in absence of our Reservations Manager, the daily, weekly, and monthly revenue management reports are up to date and are completed in accordance with Six Senses standards. Forecasting and reporting requirements for the role will be completed accurately, on time and maintained for reference. Corrective action will be taken immediately when issues are identified, particularly for Quality assessments. The required meetings and briefings are to be attended or conducted and/or as instructed by Reservations Manager.

Quality_**

I will support the Reservations Manager by analysing market data and highlight trends for strategic decisions, track and establish pick-up trends, occupancy history and market segment development to facilitate the forecasting process. Act proactively to identify weak periods and opportunities to stimulate business and always seek opportunities to further generate and drive business. I will design and create packages or promotions to meet the direct business demands and according to the resort requirements.

**_Financial Performance_**

Reservations department’s operational budget will be strictly adhered to and all costs will be continually monitored and controlled to drive profitability, while taking into consideration the preservation of required standards with every decision made. I will lead the annual preparation of the room revenue budget and the annual rate preparations.
