With our recent launch of the AI school, we are positioned for substantial growth in the B2B vertical, particularly targeting enterprise companies. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth.
Your role is to drive growth for Ironhack's Training Services and have a positive impact on individuals embarking on a new path. Specifically, you will focus on the Talent Development Services Business Line, with a strong emphasis on AI upskilling training.
The AI revolution has created a high demand for skilled AI professionals. Many companies are seeking to enhance their workforce's AI abilities to stay competitive, improve productivity, and address skill obsolescence. However, they may be uncertain about how to get started. With a strong brand and community, Ironhack is well-equipped to meet this demand and emerge as a leading provider of AI talent development solutions.
This role is one of the most thrilling gigs within the B2B team. Every collaboration you ignite means dozens of young minds get the chance to gain cutting-edge digital skills, knowing that upon completion, a tech job is guaranteed.
To pull this off, you'll need to collaborate across all Ironhack departments: from working alongside our Education squad, curating learning paths that ensure acquiring skills for success in their new roles, to partnering with the marketing crew to craft inspiring campaigns. You'll sync up with colleagues rolling out similar services in the US, Europe, and Latin America, and most crucially, team up with our delivery squad—the ones who make the magic happen.
**#Responsibilities**
- Develop Sales Strategy: Create a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the B2B vertical, with a specific focus on targeting enterprise companies. This includes identifying key market segments, defining value propositions, and establishing sales targets and metrics.
- Lead Initial Sales Efforts: Take ownership of the initial sales efforts, engaging with potential enterprise clients, and securing partnerships. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Assess Market Response: Monitor market response to our offerings and gather feedback from clients to iterate and refine the sales strategy. Identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and new opportunities to adapt the approach accordingly.
- Build and Lead Sales Team: As the company scales and the sales function expands, recruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing sales team. Provide mentorship, coaching, and ongoing training to ensure the team achieves and exceeds sales targets.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to drive revenue growth and maximize customer satisfaction. Continuously optimize sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
**#Must haves**
- 8+ years of experience in B2B sales leadership roles with a minimum of 2 years selling into the Enterprise segment in Spain
- A proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and building a high performing sales team.
- Experience in education or technology sector is a plus
- Proven ability to build and maintain enduring, trustworthy commercial relationships
- Ability to analyze and understand clients' needs, generating solutions that adapt to those needs
- Desire to work for a fast-paced startup and take on increasing levels of responsibility
- Fluent communication skills in English and Spanish
- Passionate about the transformative potential of AI
