- The Barcelona Supercomputing Center - Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS) is the leading supercomputing center in Spain. It houses MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe, was a founding and hosting member of the former European HPC infrastructure PRACE (Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe), and is now hosting entity for EuroHPC JU, the Joint Undertaking that leads large-scale investments and HPC provision in Europe. The mission of BSC is to research, develop and manage information technologies in order to facilitate scientific progress. BSC combines HPC service provision and R&D into both computer and computational science (life, earth and engineering sciences) under one roof, and currently has over 1000 staff from 60 countries.

**Context And Mission**

**Key Duties**
- HR Controlling:

- Lead the personnel cost planning process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Supervise and validate data entry of personnel bookings in collaboration with the team.
- Manage monthly payroll cost closings, and provide strategic support to Group Leaders for personnel cost planning within their teams in partnership with the Finance Projects unit.
- Oversee and monitor the HR budget.
- HR Analytics:

- Define, monitor, and report key HR KPIs to measure the effectiveness of HR processes and initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for senior management and department heads.
- Management of the HR KPI’s monthly reports.
- Provide punctual reports to the different departments.
- Support the different areas of HR in the reporting
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:

- Supervise and mentor a junior HR Controlling & Analytics Officer, fostering their professional development.
- Collaborate with other HR units to integrate analytics into decision-making processes.
- Act as a key liaison between HR and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and support on budget and analytics matters.
- Personnel administration:

- Official statistics of the departments in collaboration with the team members and payroll agency
- Management of affiliated personnel of BSC
- Provide organization charts updated

**Requirements**:

- Education
- University degree in Labour Relations, or a related field.
- Postgraduate degree in Controlling or Analytics of Human Resources will be a plus.
- Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
- At least 1 - 2 years of experience in a People Analytics position in a research organization/public sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage HR budgets and/or personnel budgeting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication (Spanish, Catalan and English), other European languages will be valued.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, etc.).
- Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Familiarity with HR analytics tools and dashboard creation is a strong asset.
- Experience with SAP or similar systems is an advantage.
- Other experiences in en HR department will be valued.

**Conditions**
- The position will be located at BSC within the Management Department
- We offer a full-time contract (37.5h/week), a good working environment, a highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, support to the relocation procedures
- Duration: Open-ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration
- Holidays: 23 paid vacation days plus 24th and 31st of December per our collective agreement
- Starting date: 01/02/2024
