As Key Account Manager, you are responsible for translating and realising the sales strategy at customers and prospects.
Hard-selling is not in our nature, but building long-term customer relationships is. Solution-oriented thinking, where you bring technical challenges to a successful conclusion tailored to the customer.
**What will you do**:
- You are responsible for translating and realising the agreed sales strategy with customers and prospects in order to increase the market share and guarantee Smart Packaging Solutions sustainable growth.
- Mapping potential commercial opportunities is your daily focus. This consists of both targeted upselling to existing customers and mapping interesting prospects.
- To achieve the expected growth, you provide a continuous service to our customers. When companies face technical challenges, you are the pivot between supply and demand.
- Besides the many external contacts, you are a crack at keeping internal communication high. This allows you to providing smooth and correct service at all time.
- Smart Packaging Solutions is also constantly developing at the technological level, where your personal growth and the expansion of your professional knowledge are changed on a daily basis.
- As you are given a lot of autonomy within your tasks, you use this space for initiative and creativity to create a commercial impact and result.
- Off course you like to work result-oriented and your objective is to achieve the predefined KPIs:
- Bringing in new customers.
- Proposing value solutions in the approached segment.
- Negotiating and securing customer contracts.
- Creating quotes, offers and customer sheets within the ERP package.
- Controlling and improving customer payments.
- Monitoring customer stock data.
- Traveling is your second nature, necessary for achieving growing turnover figures at Spain. As the head office is located in Belgium and another production plant is located at the Netherlands, you will be needed to travel over there too.
- You manage your portfolio with excellent knowledge of sales figures, trends and quoting activity. You work independent and report directly to the Sales Director, located in Belgium. Of course you can also count on your team member in the Internal Sales team.
**Who are we looking for**:
- A learning attitude and the will to continuously strive for the maximum is in your DNA.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Sales, or a technical discipline.
- Experience is a plus but your enthusiasm is all - determining
- Preferably you have a first experience with SAP and Office 365 or are willing to learn.
- Customer loyalty always takes precedence for you, for which you bring strong empathy. Problems do not exist for you, only solutions. You are a go-getter with an entrepreneurial attitude.
- Experience with the agricultural sector is a big plus
- Naturally, you speak fluent Spanish as well as English, which is necessary for traveling to Belgium and The Netherlands.
- You can combine you private life with traveling at least once a month for a few days.
- Besides your service orientation, target-oriented work also brings out the best in you.
- When performing the job, attention is paid to safety, environment and quality at all times.
