**RDT Ingenieros** is an innovative company whose scope of action is the development of advanced engineering projects within the Aeronautics, Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, Industry, Petrochemical, Capital Goods and Consumer Goods sectors, among others.
We are present both nationally (Bilbao, Barcelona, Madrid, Pamplona) and internationally (UK, Puebla, Mexico DF, Morocco and Denmark), and currently have a staff of more than 1,600 engineers.
RDT Ingenieros is looking for a **Customer Project Leader** for our Engineer department in Barcelona (Sant Vicenç dels Horts)
Essential **job functions **include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Project Management from the RFQ phase up to the new product sign-off acting as the main engineering interface with Customer(s) and coordination of the pre-nomination activities related to Customers
- Capture Customer needs and product trends transforming them into opportunities for the company
- Organize & Lead pre-nomination engineering and tech review activities promoting the definition and presentation to the customer of alternative design solutions (co-design) including innovations to foster competitiveness
- Proactive management of all interactions with Customer through out all the NPCD phases and up to the Sign-off mainly related to the Customer central areas and delegating the Customer Plant interactions to the Program Manager
- Coordinate the integration of technical quotations, involving Product Engineers, and all the necessary technical roles, must drive the revision of manufacturing capacity needed for the new project
- Monitor the nomination status of new projects already quoted from the technical point of view
- Lead the review of all the available information of the project and kick off the design stage (included but not limited to: scope of supply, specifications, deliverables, key dates, lead times, budgets, target technical parameters, lessons learned to apply, risks assessment and specific additions or exclusions to the activities / deliverables specified in NPCD)
- Get the Customer validation of the model and process design
- Lead the technical negotiations with Customer(s) during the NPCD phases of the new project
- Execution of all NPCD activities identified for the Customer Project Leader
- Lead the official closure of the new project as specified in the NPCD Sign-off
- Ensure that all lessons learned from the new project are uploaded in DKM at least for the activities marked DKM in the NPCD Handbook

**Additional Skills**:
- Previous machining and/or foundry experience will be a plus, but is not required.Knowledge about Core Tools (APQP,PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Control Plan) / IATF or equivalent methodologies and CSRs

**Requisitos**:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (desirable MBA or Engineering / Manufacturing related master degree)
- At least three years in Project Management positions in automotive industry, design, metrology or related activities
- Availability to travel 30% of the time
- High level of English
