Job Description:Role: Customer Project Controller Analyst for Modular Data Center in Secure Power Division of Energy Management Business unit
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Project Controller Analyst to join our Modular Data Center team in the Secure Power Division of Energy Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing customer projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery, and providing financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm all Purchase Orders are placed (including follow-up), validate if all Sales Orders are linked to SE MDC QSKUs, and follow-up customer billing.
- Partner with execution team (including MDC Finance Controller) to meet project budget.
- Report on project financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Support project team members in organizing meetings, documenting minutes, and action items.
- Support project team in creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, e.g., standardization, scope for digitization of entire process.
Requirements:
- Open and approachable persona.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English/Spanish.
- Detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across multiple disciplines including manufacturing, quality, offer management, and sales.
- Proactive and self-motivated person who anticipates needs, with a well-organized, disciplined work style.
- College degree and equivalent financial project administration experience.
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases (formulas), Tableau, MS Office, and financial software applications (ERP).
- Ability to travel occasionally (up to 15%) both domestically and internationally to support the projects and factories.
