**MISION DEL PUESTO**

Será el responsable de realizar de manera cualificada las funciones de control, realización y supervisión de la cocina en el turno establecido bajo la dirección del Jefe/a de cocina, aplicando en todo momento las normas y prácticas de seguridad e higiene vigentes en la empresa.

**FUNCIONES ESENCIALES**
- Conocimiento completo de todos los elementos del menú, sus recetas, métodos de producción y estándares de presentación.
- Asignar las tareas necesarias al personal de cocina para el correcto funcionamiento de la misma.
- Colaborar en la planificación de menús y cartas.
- Colaborar en la gestión de costes e inventarios, así como en las compras si es necesario.
- Controlar y cuidar de la conservación y aprovechamiento de los productos puestos a su disposición.
- Revisar el estado de las cámaras y temperaturas.
- Fechar los Géneros y hacer rotación lógica.
- Apoyar al Jefe de cocina en el control de costes de alimentos e inventarios.
- Mantener un estrecho contacto con el resto del equipo de cocina con el fin de garantizar un buen servicio.

- Mantener una fluida comunicación con el Jefe de cocina
- Cumplimento de las normas y políticas de la compañía y/o Hotel
- Mantener una buena relación con el equipo de sala y departamento de F&B en general.
- Apoyar en la formación del resto de miembros del equipo de cocina (cocineros, ayudantes)
- Apoyar al Chef Ejecutivo en la gestión del personal de cocina, planificación según presupuesto y

gestión de vacaciones.

**CONOCIMIENTOS Y HABILIDADES DEL PUESTO**
- Iniciativa y capacidad de trabajo en equipo.
- Capacidad de realizar múltiples tareas simultáneamente.
- Precisión, interés por los detalles.
- Dotes organizativas.
- Ser creativo.

**FORMACIÓN Y EXPERIENCIA**

4 años en puesto de cocinero o 2 años como Jefe de partida con conocimiento de servicio a la carta en Hotel 5* o Restaurante gourmet (imprescindible).

F.P. 2 grado en Técnico de cocina o similar.

Idiomas: imprescindible español e inglés (alemán será un plus)

Conocimientos informáticos: uso y manejo de office (Word, excel, correo electrónico, Outlook) se valorará experiência en herramientas de gestión de personal.

Se valorará experiência internacional en Hoteles 5* y/o Restaurantes fine-dining.
