**Job Description Summary**: Aplication Engineer (AE), as part of the Customer support team, is a role that represents the interface between the Engineering team and the Sales &Tender team in Offshore business providing Haliade-X wind turbine technical support to any Request for Quotation (RfQ) received from Customers.

Starting date September 1st, 2023 and for a duration of 6 months.

The AE shall be able to analyze the Employer Requirements (ER) received from the assigned project opportunity and standards applicable for the assigned project country. From this analysis, the AE shall be able to identify any deviation/clarification from the Haliade-X standard product, identify any Feature & Accessories (F&A) from the product catalogue and identify any project specidic customization to be done in the Haliade-X standard product to fulfill the ER. Once the customizations are detected, AE shall be able to define the scope and cost associated to those customizations. This customizations, internally called Design to Order (DTO), have to be defined following the corresponding process where inputs from differente departments are required including Engineering, Global Supply chain, Manufacturing and PMO. The result of the DTO process shall be shared with Sales & Tender team so that it can be included in the Project budget.

In his/her function, the AE shall detect, following the Engineering Risk Assessment and Management of Projects (RAMP) procedure, any technical risks associated to the product scope and planning offered based on specific requirements from client and/or market.

The AE shall be responsible to create the Deviation list from Employer Requirements (ERs) and review the project overhead (POH) budget for each project opportunity.

The AE shall review and provide comments to the offer Scope of Supply, the offer Assumption book and the Scope interface matrix documents for offer submission.

And finally, the AE shall work closely with the Technical Lead Manager in order to support technical clarifications based on Employer Requirements (ERs), attend face to face meetings with Customer and itsexperts and organize and support Technical Due Diligence (TDD).
