Job Description Summary:
HAVAS Media Group Spain is currently seeking a HR Compensation & Controlling / Business Partner for their premises in Madrid. His/her specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Job Description:
Mission & Responsibilities

80% of his/her time: Compensation & Benefits & Reporting
- Ensure compensation and benefits standards comply with company policies and/or other regulations or legislation.
- Analyze, review, recommend, and obtain approval for changes to compensation and benefits at the country level.
- Develop job descriptions for various positions and determine appropriate base pay.
- Prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scale.
- Forecast budget for salary increases.
- Monthly/Quartely and Yearly reporting (coordination with Finance Team) and in charge of the development and maintenance of the Reporting systems.
- Assist in development of home country policies and procedures to support the compensation and benefits function.
- Participate in market and salary surveys, and analyze these surveys to ensure appropriate compensation across all departments.
- Monitor reviews of compensation and benefits packages to maintain market positioning.
- Answer employee queries on compensation and benefit matters.
- Coordinate communication of compensation and benefits information to employees.
- Assist in job evaluations and the annual merit process as required.
- Link with the Global Team in C&B matters.

20% of his/her time:

- Provide HR Partnership to business leaders.
- Share responsibility with business leaders to building great leadership capabilities and achieve business results.
- Talent management practices including management of talent review, support and guidance on creation of Individual development plans or overall building of the talent bench.
- Develop key business partnerships and lead initiatives that build capabilities in staffing, identifying/building talent, building employee or the design of policies and prepare compensation recommendations and budgets
- Collect and analyze C&B data to prepare reports and advise managers for making decisions
- Recommend improvements in compensation and benefits
- Maintain local employee and top management benefits and compensation data in our database

Qualifications & Languages
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR
- Languages: English (Intermediate)

- + years of experience in compensation and benefits management
- Media agency, Tech company, Data company, Consultancy
