Arxada is looking for a Manager Logistics in Barcelona for the Business Unit NCE.
Key responsibilities:
- Foster strong, long-term relationships with service providers resulting in excellent quality service to both internal and external customers.
- Ownership of the overall operational logistics (transportation and warehousing)
- Responsibility for freight costs maintenance in SAP
- Optimize the supply chain cost with container consolidation and shipment proposal with max. loading efficiency.
- Develops relationships and effectively communicate with carriers; establishes an on-going proactive line of communication to ensure capacity and constantly monitors service standards.
- Review of logistics solutions for existing and new products, routes with risk identification and mitigation.
- Reviews and analyze KPI’s to better understand performance and service level.
- Resolve the conflict with the key stakeholders if occurs (including regular review of transportation network reliability).
- Managing customer and vendor complaints related to logistics and warehousing for root cause analysis and implementation of correct measurements.
- First escalation level for inbound & outbound logistics teams
- Troubleshooter for any kind of operational issues in terms of logistics and warehousing that teams can’t solve in the day-to-day business.
- On
- and of hire of rolling stock such as tank containers or rail tank waggons
- Claim handling with transport insurance company.
- Oversees correct payment of carriers and warehouses.
- Capability to process deliveries and organize shipments to support both In
- and Outbound Logistic Teams in case needed.
Key requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain / Logistics or related degree.
- 7-10 years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics.
- Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in SAP (SD) and Master Data module.
- Role requires an individual that is customer oriented and fast moving for a newly developed business model in last mile deliveries.
- Excellent and out of the box thinking problem solving skills and hands on mentality.
- Fluent in German and proficient English skills.
