- Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator Iberia.

- Recruitment and staffing of personnel in sales, customer service & documentation.
- Management of Sales team performance.

- Authority to set profit margins on maritime logistics business.
- Authority to propose business within defined credit Independently correspond with liner principals.
- Main responsibilities
- Obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, skills development and product knowledge development
- Manage sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining process where possible, advising senior management on maximising business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish
- Manage the sales team, develop a business plan covering sales, revenue and expense controls, meeting agreed targets mainly in line with our principals requirements.
- Ensure that sales representatives activities are in line with Wilhelmsen code of conduct
- Monitoring the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, sales meetings, newsletters and bulletins
- Implement appraisal system that describes the responsibilities and performance standards for each member of the sales team, set individual targets and commissions and administer the commission plan.
- Provide ongoing training for the sales team so that they possess sufficient knowledge to present information on the company’s products and services in an accurate and balanced manner
- Ensure monthly reporting and development of business with strategic partners
- Gathering marketing intelligence about customers, competitors, suppliers, regulations and industry trends
- Use of quality system like GIMS to record improvement potential, non
- conformity, customer complaints and positive feedback
- All employees are responsible to follow QHSSE policies, guideline, procedures and legal & other requirements established by the company in line with ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001

As a manager:

1. ensuring all relevant risk management processes are implemented and applied to demonstrate risk reduction.
2. ensuring employees, contractors and visitors are trained and competent to perform their tasks safely & effectively.
3. ensuring the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are available, used, inspected and maintained.
4. ensuring all accidents, incidents, injuries, near misses, safety risks and issues of non-compliance with health and safety procedures are reported, investigated and managed to prevent recurrence.
5. managing and developing safety proactively; engage yourself and lead by example.
As an employee:
The employee is responsible to adhere to the company’s health and safety* requirements to ensure their own safety and the safety of their colleagues by:
1. participating in risk assessment processes in the workplace
2. completing required health and safety training and certifications
3. following safe work practices and procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
4. inspecting equipment and the workplace regularly and actively eliminating hazards
5. reporting accidents, incidents, injuries, near misses, safety risks and issues of non-compliance with health and safety procedures according to internal procedure
6. developing the safety culture at own workplace and cooperating with others on matters relating to health and safety
- this includes physical as well as psychosocial health and safety
**Qualifications**:
Mandatory requirements
- 08 years of experience in Freight & Logistics Sales.
- Fluent communication skills
- Excellent computer skills for Microsoft office.
- Strong knowledge of Internet functionalities

- Job holder is responsible for carrying out all tasks related to sales & customer service department as outlined in GIMS within the Principal's requirements. Using easy freight and related software.
