**Key Responsibilities**:

- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications specific to marine structures and vessels.
- Material Preparation: Select and prepare the appropriate types and sizes of marine-grade steel for welding based on project specifications.
- Welding Operations: Perform welding and cutting operations using various processes such as MIG, TIG, and ARC, ensuring precision and adherence to marine welding codes and standards.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous inspections of welded joints to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and comply with marine industry regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marine engineers, project managers, and other team members to coordinate welding activities, address technical challenges, and ensure project timelines are met.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment, preventing accidents during marine welding operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints specific to marine structures.
- Expertise in various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and ARC, with a keen understanding of marine welding codes and standards.
