Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- Create an ongoing feedback loop with marketing, sales, and portfolio leadership teams
- Partner with marketing operations and sales operations on reporting and segmentation needs, along with tech or tool integrations or adjustments
- Share feedback from the front line to marketing, sales, and portfolio leadership
- Work with product teams to develop ongoing product/solution training
- Provide go-to-market feedback to teams defining audience and messaging
- Create 30-, 60-, and 90-day onboarding plans for new BDRs
- Manage BDR team capacity with considerations for promotions and attrition
- Coach and Retain top-performing BDRs with ongoing development for career goals
- Ensure the role is about authentically connecting with prospects and developing new relationships
- Identify and make recommendations for improvements in process, efficiency, and productivity
- Establish processes and supporting technology that create leverage for the team
- Lead BDRs to accurately capture and report account and opportunity information within Salesforce
- Manage to all demand management-related service-level agreements (SLAs) or collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to establish
- Model “what good looks like” to the team through effective leadership by joining sales calls and helping the team use various methods of communication to encourage prospect and customer engagement
- Provide actionable feedback and solutions to management to improve training, systems, processes, and tools
- Manage Pre-Sales reporting and dashboards to ensure the results can be easily understood by stakeholders throughout the organization
- Supply quantitative and qualitative feedback to marketing to help focus and refine marketing efforts
- Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of BDRs’ opportunity identification, validation, and qualification efforts and help BDRs improve by understanding their performance on a regular basis
