**What you will be doing**:
As an IT Support tech, you will play a crucial role in BMAT, helping the company in achieving its objectives. Your contributions will directly influence/impact your colleagues’ productivity, making you an integral part of our team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with on-boardings and off-boardings, including preparing the required equipment, packaging and handling devices, and helping new starters take up their posts as fast as possible.
- Manage requests for account, laptop and network servicing and provisioning, ensuring everyone can carry on their tasks with mínimal interruptions.
- Coordinate with Office and Facilities to provide help for some events, and make sure the Office network and A/V equipment run smoothly, and that IT equipment is properly recycled
- Support your teammates with Quarterly projects and the IT-Support queue.

**Collaboration and Team Dynamics**:
You will work within the IT Ops & Security team, and collaborate closely with all company departments, providing first-line support for anything IT-related. This cooperation is pivotal for achieving our organisational goals and ensuring effective communication and alignment across different areas of the company.

**Expectations of the role**:
**Within 30 Days**:
During the first month, your primary focus will be on familiarising yourself with essential aspects of the role and supporting foundational tasks.
- Work with the IT Ops & Security team to understand their objectives and workflows.
- Assist in user lifecycle management, including provisioning of equipment and accounts. Assist with the device stock management, ensuring everything is ready and complies with internal policies.

**Within 60 Days**:
By the second month, you'll be expected to take on more complex responsibilities and actively contribute to team/project/strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics to ensure prompt device delivery for remote onboardings.
- Manage device stock, ensuring all devices are properly tagged and accounted for.

**Within 90 Days**:
At the end of the probationary period, you'll be expected to autonomously manage tasks, contribute to strategic planning, and take on leadership roles as appropriate.

- Support Office and Facilities with A/V equipment.
- Assist with internal IT projects.

**Requirements**:
All about you
- Preferably 1 year of experience in IT Support.
- Experience in systems/network administration or related roles is preferred but not necessary.
- Demonstrate understanding of security principles, practices, and relevant regulations.
- Familiarity with Mac, Linux and Windows operating systems is advantageous.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Atlassian and Google suites is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Demonstrate adaptability and openness to feedback and learning opportunities.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute positively to team dynamics and foster a supportive work environment.
- Fluency in English. Proficiency in Spanish and Catalan is highly appreciated, but not necessary.
