**Social Account Director - Social Hub**

**Description**

We are building the best end to end social presence for our clients in EMEA. As a Social Account Director, you are responsible for running our client relationships and ensuring that we have the industry best practice. You will make sure that all campaigns are delivered on time and within budget, while ensuring optimal quality and customer satisfaction. You are the driving force in growing the client business within the wider Monks family, the optimal processes' leader and the bridge between the different teams and capabilities.

In addition to managing our client relationships, you will be the first point of escalation for your team, which includes Social Account Managers and Social Project Managers. You report directly to the Head of Social Hub. Your work will also involve working cross-functionally with our EMEA market teams', overseeing client financials and profitability with the help of the Operations team, and mentoring, managing, and growing the accounts teams with the support of our social.monks network expertise.

**Duties And Responsibilities**

This role is directly responsible for the overall health of the social media client account teams situated in Madrid, including:
**PARTNERS**
- You have an eye to detect business opportunities and develop the right solution.
- Looking beyond the day-to-day needs of current work, ensuring the long-term stability and growth of the relationship and revenue
- Responsible for management of client relationships, build strong relationships with clients;
- Responsible for creating new business opportunities within the retained clients base;
- Contribute to the ongoing improvements of internal processes and efficiency across the teams and project team members;
**PEOPLE**
- Ensure career pathing for individuals on the team, collaborating with their managers to craft opportunities to develop their skills and experiences
- Train, coach and mentor direct reports on their day-to-day roles helping them develop their industry knowledge, client and people management skills, and technical capabilities
- Conduct regular check-in with direct reports to ensure that they are tracking against goals, provide support as needed, and ensure professional and personal happiness
- Actively contribute to the S4 leadership team, driving cross-group pollination, opportunities across teams, and career growth

**PRODUCT**
- Ensuring the highest-quality work is provided in a timely, cost-effective manner, with a focus on effective processes across the team
- Tackle new business project, even from industries you never worked for before.
- You'll define process strategies, write up workflows and dig deep into tooling and system solutions.
- You'll support the creation of documentation and training materials to define the way of work.
- Responsible for the management and quality control of multiple social media/influencer campaigns;
- Ensure optimal communication throughout the project teams at all stages of the campaign

**PROFIT**
- Overseeing client financials and profitability with the help of the Operations team
- Ensure resource allocation efficiently
- Be responsible for the financial requirements of your running campaigns.

**Additional Skills**
- A minimum of 12+ years work experience as an Account/Project manager at a marketing or social advertising agency in a creative, dynamic and digital environment;
- Strong competencies in project and account management, planning and organization;
- Proven ability to drive client business growth
- Deep understanding of marketing principles and programs with an emphasis on social media and digital marketing across strategy, content creation and paid media.
- Ability to understand clients' business challenges and mentor and train teams to address those needs.
- Proven track record of managing and growing accounts.
- Great working knowledge of all social media marketing/advertising, and preferably some experience in influencer marketing
- Excellent attention to detail;
- A strong personality who is able to work autonomously and within teams;
