Elevate your career with this quota-carrying role, setting the stage for a future in Sales, pre-sales, solution consultancy, or management.What the Role OffersOutbound prospecting: Uncover and develop new business opportunities via outbound cold calling into targeted enterprise-level accounts.Inbound lead development: Qualify and develop new business leads that come from prospect and customer engagement across our campaigns and digital events to generate Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).Opportunity progression: You will be assigned opportunities to progress working as part of a 'win-team' with an Account Executive and Solution Consultant.Prospecting activity: You will be a trusted business advisor and build customer relationships via outbound telephone cold-calling and the use of email, social media, and video engagement.What You Need to SucceedSuccess achieving sales targets.Strong interpersonal and effective verbal and written communication skills.Creative, can-do attitude when researching leads and cold calling prospects.Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment - only constant is change.Goal-oriented, positive, self-starter with strong analytical skills and a track record of autonomy, ownership, and execution.Graduate or 1-2 years of proven successful outbound lead generation experience in a technology environment preferred.Experience with Salesforce.Com, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Office Suite, and DiscoverOrg a plus.One Last ThingOpenText is more than just a corporation, it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.
