Key ResponsibilitiesThe Strategy & Expansion Associate will be a core member of the Strategy & Expansion team, responsible for:Launching and supporting new country operations (having successfully opened business in 17 countries). Evolving the Go-To-Market strategy and follow-up the implementationDefining Verisure' s new adjacent business opportunities (businesses different from our core alarm value proposition that are close to it so we can leverage our strengths). This role will require determination to deeply understand:Our business model. Our Go-to-Market (digital marketing, call center, field sales & salesmen recruitment, E2E KPIs, etc. ). Among other tasks, this role will involve:Supporting the definition of the Go-To-Market strategy,
identifying risks and opportunities. Supporting countries' business team & Finance team in the implementation of these processes and tools. Defining adequate processes and tools for operational and financial follow-up (both online/real-time and closing month). Analyzing operational & financial data to drive conclusions and prepare management reports for the proposal of improvements and decision-makingWorking with the rest of the Strategy & Expansion team in other projects such as new country operation launch. LocationThe position will be based in Madrid (Spain) with Pan European travel expected (about 25%). Reports and organizational structureDirectly reporting to KPI´s & Distributed P&L; Manager. Candidate profileQualifications, Experiences, and CompetenciesWe are looking for experienced professionals with 3-4 years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm and/or industry, preferably in strategy,
finance or operations. High affinity towards data and technology with ability to dive deep and analyze opportunities and processes. Strong business sense, understanding the business impact of KPIs. Experienced in complex data analysis and advanced data modeling with Excel. Entrepreneurial drive with strong hands-on approach and commitment, overcoming obstacles to achieve goals, with innovative and open mindset to new approaches. Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills, being able to perform well in high-pressure environments, on own initiative and in an international/multicultural team. Structured, detail oriented, and capable of understanding the big picture. Strong written and oral communication capabilities,
being able to communicate complex concepts in a simple way to audiences with different backgrounds. Fluent in written and spoken English (other languages will be a plus: Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian, French).
