Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our team. A family-owned company known for its supportive and approachable leadership, is expanding its sales team to meet growing market demand and refine its territory strategy. This role is ideal for a driven individual with a track record in sales, ideally in building materials, to enhance our presence in Washington. Responsibilities Sales Growth: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the designated territory. Client Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term connections with clients. Industry Expertise: Gain and maintain an in-depth understanding of glass and building materials, staying current on industry trends to support clients effectively. Revenue Objectives: Focus on driving consistent sales growth through targeted strategies and lead generation. Performance Reporting: Track sales activities and client insights, providing regular updates to senior management. Key Sales Skills and Qualifications Experience: 5 years in business development or sales, ideally within building materials (e.g., glass, granite). Skill Set: Excellent negotiation and communication abilities; capable of working independently and within a team. Additional Assets: Golf skills can be beneficial for networking in the industry.
