Context on the role: The Workplace Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Booksy's coworking space in Madrid. This position is key to fostering a positive work environment and facilitating high employee engagement through the organization and management of company events and workspace logistics.
What you'll do: Coworking Space and Office Management: Oversee daily operations and coordinate coworking space use.Develop, implement, and oversee office protocols to ensure optimal functioning.Maintain and update inventory lists for office supplies and technological resources.Address unexpected maintenance issues and coordinate solutions.Act as the point of contact for the coworking space provider and team membersEmployee engagement support - Event and Travel Coordination: Organize all company face-to-face events and meetings, particularly focusing on ES events.Plan and execute major company events (e.g., summer and winter events, team buildings, offsites) to enhance team morale and engagement.Coordinate travel arrangements, including accommodations and flights for business trips.Contribute to and help organize team activities focused on engagement and morale.Support the P&C team with onboarding new hires when done in person in Madrid, and disseminating P&C-related communications.Maintain a safe and inclusive workplace by adhering to health and safety policies.Asset and Equipment Management: Oversee the procurement and management of office equipment and ensure a comprehensive inventory is kept.Send out equipment such as laptops and phones to new starters.Organize the collection of assets when employees leave.Explore global responsibilities associated with managing a Global Remote Workforce.Support on Ad Hoc projects.Skills and competencies requirements: Hard skills : Event Planning Experience: Demonstrated success in planning and managing corporate events.Administrative Skills: Strong organizational and administrative skills to manage office responsibilities effectively.Professional English Proficiency: Ability to express and understand professional conversations in English.Competencies :  Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners.Problem-solving Skills: Aptitude for addressing issues proactively and finding effective solutions.Adaptability: Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.What we offer: The opportunity to be part of something big - the world's fastest growing beauty marketplaceSupport and ample opportunities for professional growthAmazing co-workers across five countries; Offices in Granada & MadridWork + life balance (and we mean it)Flexible working hoursEnglish classesPsychologist for our employees, available twice a week50€ per month to use on Booksy servicesAccess to a wellness platform where you can earn points and redeem them for discounts on Amazon, Zalando, Decathlon, and HBO.
