.Key Skills and ExperienceA proven track record in a New Business Development role.A self-starter with a passion for proactively seeking and winning new business.The ability to overcome objections and identify solutions to help secure the sale, whilst remaining diplomatic and trustworthy at all timesAbility to prioritiseExceptional communication and presentation skills (written and oral)Working knowledge of CRM systemsExcellent organisational and time management skillsProven experience in sales negotiations and closing dealsWillingness to travelPrevious experience in the industrial and logistics sectorA working knowledge of the new construction processKey Responsibilities and DutiesAssume overall responsibility for securing business with new clientsConduct initial face-to-face meetings with clientsIdentify the right solution for the client based on requirements and feedback and develop a proposal for submission.Conduct follow up meetings with clients to present proposals either face to face or online if necessaryMake future recommendations where necessary in response to customer needs.Conduct face-to-face sales closing meetingsProactively self-generate leads through cold calling in the assigned territory.Attend relevant trade fairs to target potential customers and capture new leadsIn collaboration with Key Account Managers, Major Account Managers and Regional Account Managers and provide support where necessary for key customersEnsure all internal systems (CRM and ERP) and databases are updated in a timely and accurate mannerActively participate in internal and external meetings where assistance is requiredCommunications and Industrial RelationsYour main contacts will include:Internal:Marketing and Sales Development teamsKey / Major /Regional Accounts TeamsExternal:Potential customersScope of ProposalDepending on the seniority and geographical size of the delegation, the NBDM function may have a defined area or be targeted at a specific vertical market (i.E. type of industry).Responsibilities within the CompanyEnsure that you, your colleagues and any visitors behave with due respect for the company's health and safety policy, procedures and safe systems of work when visiting customer sites; Promote equality and diversity at all times while representing the company; Carry out any reasonable additional duties as directed by your line manager; Carry out any reasonable additional duties as directed by a member of the executive and senior management team; Adhere to all company policies and procedures.ApplyOur values are at the core of everything we do:We are PioneersWe are in it TogetherWe do the Right ThingThis is a great opportunity to join us at a time of rapid growth.We offer a fast-paced, energetic and creative environment, working with the latest technologies.We have a great track record of developing talent, offering ongoing training, professional study support and career opportunities
