Key Skills and Experience
A proven track record in a New Business Development role.
A self-starter with a passion for proactively seeking and winning new business.
The ability to overcome objections and identify solutions to help secure the sale, whilst remaining diplomatic and trustworthy at all times
Ability to prioritise
Exceptional communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
Working knowledge of CRM systems
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Proven experience in sales negotiations and closing deals
Willingness to travel
Previous experience in the industrial and logistics sector
A working knowledge of the new construction process
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Assume overall responsibility for securing business with new clients
Conduct initial face-to-face meetings with clients
Identify the right solution for the client based on requirements and feedback and develop a proposal for submission.
Conduct follow up meetings with clients to present proposals either face to face or online if necessary
Make future recommendations where necessary in response to customer needs.
Conduct face-to-face sales closing meetings
Proactively self-generate leads through cold calling in the assigned territory.
Attend relevant trade fairs to target potential customers and capture new leads
In collaboration with Key Account Managers, Major Account Managers and Regional Account Managers and provide support where necessary for key customers
Ensure all internal systems (CRM and ERP) and databases are updated in a timely and accurate manner
Actively participate in internal and external meetings where assistance is required
Communications and Industrial Relations

Key / Major /Regional Accounts Teams
External:
Potential customers
Scope of Proposal
Depending on the seniority and geographical size of the delegation, the NBDM function may have a defined area or be targeted at a specific vertical market (i.e. type of industry).
Responsibilities within the Company
Ensure that you, your colleagues and any visitors behave with due respect for the company's health and safety policy, procedures and safe systems of work when visiting customer sites;

Carry out any reasonable additional duties as directed by your line manager;
Carry out any reasonable additional duties as directed by a member of the executive and senior management team;
