Your Tasks As an office-based service technician, your tasks will consist of providing independent 1st level support for the installed systems and solving technical problems via remote dial-in. This includes, among other things, daily monitoring as well as processing and communicating via the ticket system with customer enquiries.
For your field of activity, this means specifically:
Carrying out active and individual telephone and written customer support and advice
Technical support in the 1st level area (troubleshooting and fault rectification)
Processing and managing customer complaints
Daily, active monitoring of installed systems, data management and maintenance
Support in deployment and tour planning
Link between customers and internal departments
Participation in company-wide agile objective management
As an office-based service technician, your tasks will consist of providing independent 1st level support for the installed systems and solving technical problems via remote dial-in. This includes, among other things, daily monitoring as well as processing and communicating via the ticket system with customer enquiries.
Assembly and repair of all components belonging to the system
Maintenance of the entire system
Configuration of our servers
Carrying out minor new installations and extensions
Proper documentation of the services rendered
Instructing customers on our products

Residence in Spain in the Madrid area
Experience in technical customer support an advantage
Willingness to travel
Possibility of setting up a workstation with Internet connection in a home office
Good technical understanding (Microsoft/Linux environment)
Knowledge in the area of server, client & network infrastructure advantageous
Knowledge of video technology (desirable)
Good knowledge of German and/or English

Deutsche Industrie Video System GmbH (DIVIS) is an owner-managed medium-sized family business with more than 80 employees and over 500 customers in more than 20 European countries. The technology provider based in Bordesholm develops and implements complex video surveillance solutions for freight forwarders, CEP service providers and logistics service providers from a single source.
The CargoVIS system solution was designed for palletised goods consignments in general cargo logistics, while ParcelVIS is used for tracking packages on conveyor-controlled sorting systems and was developed especially for parcel service providers (CEP).
Other products include DamageVIS for the simple documentation of damage to consignments and StoreVIS for the visualisation of picking and returns processes.
