The Opportunity

As a Field Service Technician, you'll install, service, and maintain our equipment to ensure top operating efficiency. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting inspections, repairs, and maintenance in customer facilities
  • Providing accurate and detailed service visit reports
  • Creating solutions to new technical problems and developing suggestions for continuous improvement
  • Supporting installations and coordinating technical communication flow within JBT
  • Participating in creating and applying working procedures for Service department tasks
  • Informing potential improvements and progress
  • Training Service personnel on customers
  • Responding to technical questions from customers, technicians, and sales force
  • Assisting Sales departments with technical information and customer assistance
  • Following up on jobs and services provided to customers

We're looking for individuals who are flexible, enjoy traveling, and can work independently as well as in a team. You'll have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role or tasks working with equipment as a Service/Installation Engineer in the Food/Pharmaceutical/Chemical industry or as a Maintenance Technician within the Process industry. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as well as the ability to travel and work flexible hours. Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required. Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimum supervision are also essential. Experience in using Microsoft Office is valued, and a valid driving license is necessary.
