Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. As a key member of our Service team, you will play a critical role in advancing research, addressing complex scientific problems, and promoting technological progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine root causes of instrument failures and implement effective solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance and calibration of instruments
  • Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients
  • Conduct site visits to propose products and services, and provide guidance on new equipment and services
  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements
  • Technical bachelor's degree or advanced technical degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service or a similar role
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to lead priorities
  • Driver's license and availability to travel
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English
