About the Role

As a Field Service Technician on our team, you will play a crucial role in solving complex challenges involving electric vehicles, robotics, and smart battery technology. You will work independently and collaboratively with other team members to maintain, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical and electromechanical assemblies in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on Ample swapping stations to ensure they are always in excellent working condition.
  • Respond urgently to electro-mechanical issues at stations, resolving problems by diagnosing issues and fixing or replacing parts and systems as needed.
  • Diligently document troubleshooting and repairs to enable robust Engineering root cause analysis.
  • Read and interpret written documentation, engineering schematics, and circuit diagrams for product maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
  • Collect data on electro-mechanical issues during regular field inspections and collaborate with the engineering team to optimize mechanical part designs.
Requirements
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical service/maintenance, with construction experience a plus.
  • B2 English level required.
  • Track record of working with power diagnostic tools, with a focus on safety.
  • Capable of completing tasks with urgency in an environment with minimal instruction and supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow detailed technical instructions and procedures.
  • Reliable self-starter, committed to delivering a quality product.
  • Detail-oriented, with a drive to grow and improve skills over time.
  • Computer skills strongly preferred.
  • B Driving's license required.
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
