Service Technician in the Office and Field Service (m/f/d) Spain Deutsche Industrie Video System GmbH is a medium-sized company in the center of Schleswig-Holstein. As the market leader, it develops and sells turnkey system solutions for visual shipment tracking in logistics throughout Europe. Our focus is on individual customer solutions for parcel service providers, general cargo forwarders, and warehouse logistics.

Your Tasks As an office-based service technician, your tasks will consist of providing independent 1st level support for the installed systems and solving technical problems via remote dial-in. This includes daily monitoring as well as processing and communicating via the ticket system with customer enquiries.
Specific tasks include:
Carrying out active and individual telephone and written customer support and advice.
Technical support in the 1st level area (troubleshooting and fault rectification).
Processing and managing customer complaints.
Daily, active monitoring of installed systems, data management, and maintenance.
Support in deployment and tour planning.
Link between customers and internal departments.
Participation in company-wide agile objective management.
Assembly and repair of all components belonging to the system.
Maintenance of the entire system.
Configuration of our servers.
Carrying out minor new installations and extensions.
Proper documentation of the services rendered.
Instructing customers on our products.
Your Profile In addition to analytical thinking, you are characterised by a systematic and solution-oriented way of working and contribute your own ideas. Success- and team-oriented work, self-organisation, enthusiasm, and an independent way of working match your personality.
Residence in Spain in the Madrid area.
Experience in technical customer support is an advantage.
Willingness to travel.
Possibility of setting up a workstation with an Internet connection in a home office.
Good technical understanding (Microsoft/Linux environment).
Knowledge in the area of server, client & network infrastructure is advantageous.
Knowledge of video technology (desirable).
Good knowledge of German and/or English.
Spanish language skills (written and spoken).
Driving licence.
Strong customer and service orientation.
