The Account Executive manages the sales process, being involved in prospect qualification, performing product demonstrations, coordinating responses to RFQ/RFPs as well as taking ownership of PoCs and product evaluations.
To excel in this role, you need to be a motivated self-starter, who exhibits an insatiable curiosity about what "is possible" with technology, loves solving challenging problems and working directly with customers.
Account Executives play a critical role in driving sales, meeting revenue targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company in the market.As an Account Executive you will work closely across various company activities such as product development, sales and marketing, and customer relations.
Your job will also include understanding the customer's needs, actively observing customer behavior and predicting future needs for product development.ResponsibilitiesManaging a pipeline of opportunities, and nurturing prospective clients through the full sales process from product discovery to demonstration, trial and closing.Conducting discovery sessions with prospects, partners and customers to understand their current cloud deployment and challenges, as well as their future objectives and goals.Driving high levels of engagement through solution positioning and RFQ/RFP responses focused on the detailed feature-set capabilities and highlighting the business value of the solution.Qualifying business alignment and technical fit between prospect, customer and partner requirements and OpenNebula product and services.Designing and supervising Proof of Concepts (PoCs) with OpenNebulaManaging HubSpot CRM to document all activities on opportunities and follow-ups.Preparation of presentations, demos, use cases, solutions and discussions about OpenNebula.Speaking and demonstrating OpenNebula in public eventsContributing to the growth and development of OpenNebula by providing feedback from conversations with your customers and prospectsKeeping up with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of corporate competitorsDeveloping and nurturing relationships with key customer accountsExperience Required3+ years of Experience as a Presales Engineer or Account Executive.Experience in negotiating and closing deal sizes of at least USD 50-100k/year in terms of annual contract value (ACV) and sales cycles of 2-3 months.Experience in RFP's and RFI's, POCs.Experience working with global customers.Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.Strong customer service orientationAnalytical skills and the ability to recognize the demands on the side of the clients.Comfortable using marketing automation platforms and CRM (HubSpot).Demonstrated technical writing skills (in english)Nice-to-havesExperience working in the cloud management spaceBachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or engineeringAdvanced administration of Linux environments: RHEL/AlmaLinux, Ubuntu/DebianVirtualization: KVM, LXC, libvirt/QEMU, VMwareAutomation: Ansible, TerraformWhat's in it for me?Some of our benefits and perks vary depending on location and employment type, but we are proud to provide employees with the following;Competitive compensation package and Flexible Remuneration Options: Meals, Transport, Nursery/Childcare…Customized workstation (macOS, Windows, Linux any distro is welcome)Private Health Insurance6 hours workday on Friday's and everyday during AugustPTO: Holidays, Personal Time, Sick Time, Parental leave.All Remote company with bright HQ centrally located in Madrid, and offices in Boston (USA) and Brno (Czech Republic)Healthy Work-Life Balance : We encourage the right for Digital Disconnecting and promote harmony between employees personal and professional livesFlexible hiring options: Full Time/Part Time, Employee (Spain/Usa) / Contractor (other locations)We are building an awesome, Engineering First Culture and your opinion matters: Thrive in the high-energy environment of a young company where openness, collaboration, risk-taking, and continuous growth are valuedBe exposed to a broad technology ecosystem.
