Responsibilities:
Address requests for quotation (RFQ) on a specific item or service in the Electronics field.
Prepare the offer to the customer based upon the best supply source determined by the Procurement department on the basis of certifications, price per unit, and lead time.
Manage requests for quotation (RFQ) by analyzing requirements and verifying the availability of stock, the existence of potential purchasing contracts, and previous requests sent to suppliers for the purchase of a specific item.
Perform RFQ's follow-up activities that are necessary to ensure and maintain relations with customers, such as dealing with emails, making calls, video conferences, and visits.
Manage and enhance long-term agreements (LTA) with new suppliers and strategic manufacturers.
Promote and implement the integration of processes, products, and systems among the companies belonging to ALA/SCP Sintersa group, according to the objectives set by the line Manager.
Requirements:
Education: A degree in Economics is preferred, alternatively, a High School diploma.
Previous work-related experience: 2-5 years
Language skills: Fluent English and Spanish. Other languages such as Italian, French, or German are a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Autonomy in the critical revision of product technical specifications
- Target monitoring through BI tools
- Market knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite, especially Excel
