We're proud to foster an inclusive environment driving innovation and excellence, and we welcome you to join us on our mission to shape the future of clinical developmentThe role:ICON Clinical Research is currently looking to strengthen Business Development Manager/Director (Medical Devices and Diagnostic Research and Real World Solutions) with responsibility for a EU territory.As a Business Development Manager/Director you will be responsible for generating new and repeat business for ICON Clinical Research, promoting our Clinical solutions as well as Commercialization and Real World Evidence Solutions to Medical Device, Invitro Diagnostic organizations.Working cross functionally, you will ensure a smooth process at all stages (opportunity identification, proposal, bid defense) which maximises the opportunity for success. You will build strong relationships throughout your geographic responsibility, highlighting ICON's strength in operations and promoting ICON as the choice partner in product development and commercialization support. This role will be responsible for taking on some existing accounts to continue to grow and build the business relationship but will have heavy bias towards building new clients for ICON.As a leading global CRO ( Clinical Research Organization) we are looking to recruit an individual who can drive relationships and seize growth opportunities, building upon our existing strategic partnership arrangements and networking throughout the industry for future partnership opportunities.To be successful in this role you should have a background of solutions sales within a CRO environment or have experiences selling within a clinical environment. Having and understanding of B2B selling into Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Invitro Diagnostic companies. Ideally candidates will have some knowledge and understanding of the regulatory landscape and market access. You will need to have proven success building new accounts from scratch. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in selling Clinical, Regulatory, and Real World Evidence solutions however we will consider individuals with other clinical sales backgrounds.Benefits of Working in ICON:Our success depends on the quality of our people.
