.About the opportunityPYRATEX is growing and on the lookout for new talented team members. Our unique approach allows us to supply innovative textiles to the most fashion-forward companies & luxury houses around the globe.We are looking for a Business Developer Lead that will be dedicated to selling our products to the European market: Identifying, creating, and building relationships with key clients and partners.The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus and have the skills to lead by example, in collaboration with the CEO of the company & the Head of Business Development. As a role model for the EU team, you will have to demonstrate superb sales leadership skills, product development knowledge, drive client purchase rates and ensure that all business opportunities are maximized through efficient sales. You will be fostering and developing client relationships, while being strategic in order to drive big sales results and able to demonstrate experience in generating new business.In addition, you will be responsible for providing the best textile expertise based on personalized client needs and developing customer relationships with strong focus in return customer rates.You will become part of a young international team where you will get to help organize vendor and customer visits across Europe in order to maintain client relations. Additionally, you will assist with the preparation and organization of multiple trade shows as well as round tables and panels.We are looking for an articulate and eloquent communicator, fluent in English with already acquired fashion technical skills, such as understanding of technical sheets, lead times, testing properties, certifications, etc. You will have to demonstrate analytical qualities, supporting the head of the department with monthly reports extracted from our ERP system in order to examine KPI progress.We are looking forA fluent English Speaker (speaking & writing, minimum C1 level or equivalent is required) experience selling and negotiating in English. Spanish, French and other European languages are also an advantage.An international experience and with international cultural understanding of the business relations.With excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong knowledge and genuine appreciation of luxury products and clients.At least 5 years experience in Fashion Business Development, B2B Sales, or similar roles. With preferably a solid customer network.A strong brand and product sensibility.Knowledge of sustainability in fashion, circular knits, textiles and garment manufacturing.Experience working with ERP systems and corporation / supply chain platforms.Potentially able to supervise and manage in collaboration with the Head of the Department a small team (1 junior team member & 1 trainee).Highly motivated in the world of fashion, start-ups and new technologies.Result-driven, organized, analytical, deadline & detail-oriented
