SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER AUTOMOTIVE OEM - Multiple worklocations possible: Netherlands (Amsterdam), Italy, France

SABIC Petchem Automotive is now hiring an ambitious OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manager for Renault and Stellantis Group who will enjoy working in a multicultural environment and in cross-multidisciplinary teams. Automotive is a key strategic segment within Petrochemicals in SABIC that manages the largest tiers and OEMs in EMEA, proposing its solutions based on a joint portfolio of PP and ETP materials. The Automotive team focuses on all key existing applications in the segment as well as the new megatrends in electrification and sustainability.
JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITY
This position holder will define, develop, and execute the strategic account plan for Renault and Stellantis Group.
- Develop & implement the strategy for each OEM.
- Leverage technical and commercial knowledge to discover, develop, and deliver high-margin, value-added business.
- Represent SABIC for the assigned OEMs, including all contractual and commercial arrangements.
- Realize Technical Approvals for Materials and Applications.
- Identify trends and priorities.
- Create and maintain a widespread network.
- Understand roles & decision-making processes.
- Lead and cooperate within cross-functional teams both internally and externally.
- Provide accurate market intelligence on time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Polymer Chemistry or equivalent (MSc is preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in business development, marketing, and/or sales in the automotive market with specific knowledge in polymers in the field of R&D, Manufacturing, Processing, or Technical Marketing.
- Fluent in English in speech and writing.
- Fluent in French and/or Italian (French or Italian mother tongue is preferred).
- Business-oriented mindset, negotiating, and decision-making skills.
- Leadership of cross-functional, matrix teams.
- Process-oriented.
- Executive presence and influence skills.
- High networking capabilities.
- Confident, initiative-taking, and self-starting attitude, with high energy and speed.
