C.H. Robinson is one of the WORLD'S LARGEST LOGISTICS PLATFORMS and is looking for the next SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE in Valencia with experience in GLOBAL FORWARDING. Is that you?

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating, prospecting, soliciting, and closing new accounts leveraging all of C.H. Robinson's logistics services (including but not limited to: Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, and Outsource Solutions). You will be in daily contact with potential customers with gross sales from $60-Million, building relationships, problem solving, and assessing their needs.

This position will be responsible for promoting and selling C.H. Robinson's products and services in accordance with organizational sales policies and processes, and in pursuit of established objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manages customer interactions including fostering relationships, making customer calls, and closing deals.
  2. Uses CRM to identify, call, and track prospects in order to gain core and strategic customer opportunities.
  3. Visits customers and potential clients within assigned territory 3-to-4 days per week.
  4. Effectively executes sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual expectations.
  5. Senior Sales Executive is expected to bring own contribution to the regional team, not only by consistently achieving your new net revenue targets, but also by sharing opinions and ideas, as well as best practices, in order to support the success of the entire sales team and the Branch they work with.
  6. Remains engaged with customers to maintain relationships and ensure ongoing success of accounts in collaboration with local assigned Account Executive / Account Manager.
  7. Co-ordinates quotes with your Sales Coordinator (where applicable) and facilitate the transition of new customers to the local Account Executive / Account Manager.
  8. Ability to build a winning deal team using the right internal resources; leading and collaborating with International Air, Ocean & Rail and account management teams to develop a tailored solution.
  9. Partners with customers to gather information on their needs and offers tailored solutions based on the CHR platform to win business.
  10. Manages conflict and navigates difficult conversations with customers or internal partners.
  11. Builds and delivers proposals, tailoring each presentation to the customer.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Minimum 4 years of operations experience from a FREIGHT FORWARDER.
  2. Minimum 4 years experience in account management or SALES.
  3. Willingness to travel within assigned territory, minimum 3-4 days per week.
  4. Fluent in English and Spanish.
  5. Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others.
  6. Self-driven, results-oriented individual with "hunter" mentality.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
