We are seeking an innovative and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of Regulatory Strategy. Main Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough and ongoing research to understand and anticipate regulatory changes and trends that could impact our business.
- Create and implement long-term regulatory strategies that align with Cellnex's business objectives, identifying regulatory risks and opportunities and recommending appropriate actions.
- Ensure that Cellnex complies with all applicable regulations, laws, and standards. Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise senior management on their implications.
- Analyze regulatory policies, guidelines, and trends to foresee potential impacts on the organization, and develop proactive strategies to address regulatory challenges and leverage opportunities.
- Evaluate regulatory risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, thereby minimizing our exposure to potential regulatory issues.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure that regulatory considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making.
- Provide expert guidance and training to internal teams on regulatory requirements, processes, and best practices, ensuring all teams are well-informed and compliant with current regulations.
Candidate Profile
Education
Master's degree, preferable in Economics or Business studies
Languages
English - must have - Advanced
Spanish - valuable
Any other Cellnex language(s) - valuable
Relevant Experience
5+ years of consulting experience (strategy, business consulting, etc.) with team management, or a similar role in other companies or associations.
Other relevant skills
- Significant experience in regulatory affairs, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibility is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, processes, and best practices within the Cellnex' sector. Familiarity with relevant regulations, laws, guidelines, and standards is essential.
