We are looking for a skilled Commercial Analyst to join our growing sales team. You will support the sales team through in-depth analysis of sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior. This role will involve gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive sales strategy, identity revenue uplift opportunities and improve overall commercial performance for our clients.
Your primary collaborators will be our internal sales team, but you will also work cross functionally with colleagues from our global analytics and product teams. By sharing your findings, you will contribute to enhancing our existing client base's revenue and strengthen the overall ESW value proposition.
Work with the sales & analytics teams to identify the relevant data requests from clients in order to support robust commercial analysis
Work with the analytics & BI teams to establish internal benchmarks to support robust commercial analysis
Undertake commercial analysis of potential client opportunities, presenting your recommendations to senior partners within the team
Work with the sales teams to identify the revenue uplift opportunities for clients based on their adoption of various ESW product features
Support the product and CX teams to identify the impact of key elements of the ESW solutions to support revenue uplift analysis
Work with cross functional partners to automate and standardize the commercial analysis outputs to allow for a more streamlined sales process
Act as a contributor and driver of the analytics & BI roadmaps
Support in the preparation and presentation of sales pitches to clients
Build up a knowledge base of insightful data to support making the commercial analysis process more efficient
Attend meetings with prospects as required (travel may be necessary)
Requirements
3 years' experience working as a Data Analyst in a commercially focused role – Ecommerce experience is an advantage
Proficient working with datasets and has good analytical fundamentals
Strong numeracy and excel skills – experience with Looker platform is an advantage
Good communicator with experience working with multiple customers
Comfortable and experienced in working independently and taking responsibility for delivering multiple projects to agreed ETAs
Commercially savvy
Comfortable working within an ever-changing, high paced environment
Previous experience working in international markets is an advantage
Accuracy & attention to detail is critical as this information is used to inform business decisions and influence strategy.
Hard-working self-starter capable of running multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Natural curiosity and creative thinking.
