JOB PURPOSE & KEY OBJECTIVES:

In this pre-sales position, you'll be a trusted advisor to our clients, using your ADP service expertise and consulting skills to solve their most critical business challenges particularly related to Payroll/HR, absence management and integration with other multinational ADP offerings.

The main focus area of a Business Consultant supporting the Dutch market is to contribute to the Sales and Business Consulting teams with RFx answering. These can be either RFP = Requests for Proposal, RFI = Request for Information . These include questionnaires covering topics such as product functionalities, service delivery, implementation, technical, security and legal requirements, etc.

RFP answering involves project management tasks (Bid management), such as organizing the worksplit between various internal stakeholders, coordinating content owners and other SMEs to ensure response packages are consolidated and delivered and on a timely manner.

To execute this objective, the Business Consultant will use content available in a dedicated tool, named Responsive, a third party platform. The Business Consultant will have the responsibility to manage Responsive content database, ensuring it's maintained up to date (standard questionnaires answers, response templates etc)

The Business Consultant will also be responsible of the content management of ADP's BoB offerings (Best of Breed) within the country's portfolio in Responsive . They gather generic content directly from Subject Matter Experts and contribute to the recurrent Responsive content maintenance.

In addition to this role and as an expert of ADP products, the Business Consultant delivers virtual product presentations of in-country, local offerings (ADP iHCM, Workforce Manager, etc.) via WebEx. The Business Consultant will also contribute by creating product video demo recordings that will be leveraged by Sales with their prospects in various stages of the sales cycle.

KEY DUTIES/TASKS:

  • RFx answering using the Responsive NL database and collaterals available on different internal portals (on ADP NL offerings: Workforce Manager, ADP iHCM).
  • Building an internal network of contacts to reference in seeking expertise on complex inquiries (service, implementation,research and development, sales etc)
  • Validating legal, compliance, security etc related requirements on the RFP documentation submitted by sales – needs to build service, governance ,solutions, payroll, HR business acumen
  • Manage Content improvement process on ADP iHCM and Workforce offerings (building, maintaining, curating RFP content in Responsive. Engaging SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and other internal stakeholders in regular content creation and validation
  • Perform product presentations (live virtual demoing to prospects)
  • Build product demo recordings for sales usage
  • Demo environment maintenance and troubleshooting (iHCM, Workforce)
  • Manage translation of standard content to English/Dutch if needed
  • Other specific activities as required by the business. The role is fluid and flexible, based on country requirements, market shifts, evolving sales strategy etc. It requires high adaptability and an agile mindset.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Language:

Dutch: native speaker/writer or fluent (C2)

English: fluent speaker/writer or fluent (C2)

Candidate should have high level of skill in technical writing in English/Dutch language. He(she) should be able to summarize or rephrase answers provided subject matter experts, depending on the level of details required by the RFP. Ability to take complex subjects and distil into a simplistic message to ensure that our clients/prospects understand the value and benefit of our services and multinational solutions

Candidate must be also comfortable with talking in English/Dutch with diverse audiences, appropriately adjusts technical content to meet differing knowledge and interest, and juggling meetings with multiple audience levels.

Experience and qualifications:

Work experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in similar roles (HR/PY Admin, Technical writer, Pre-sales, Sales)
  • Human Resources and/or Payroll background
  • High level of mastery of the MS Office suite
  • Knowledge on NL HCM offerings and/or Dutch payroll is a big plus

  • Self-motivated – has a clear desire to progress within a large organization by continuously upskilling.
