Multinational referent in the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energies sector is looking for a Spain B2B Head of Sales.

This person will be responsible for leading a high-performing 5-person sales team in the energy and natural resources sector. This role includes developing strategies to maximize sales and profitability in the Spain area

Job Description

The key accountabilities include:

This is a role, reporting into the GM Spain, within the SE organization, to lead the B2B commercial business in Spain and has direct accountability for leading the commercial team, P&L delivery and the future growth of its customer base profitably. This role is an exciting opportunity to lead a highly motivated and experienced commercial team with strong focus on managing current customer base while originating new commercial opportunities. Adopting Key Account management, establish connections, nurture close relationship, shape structured negotiations, develop / prioritize / manage the deal funnel of corporates and execute the deal closure efficiently and profitably with target customers.Lead development of new customer value propositions and tailoring solutions that will help customers to navigate successfully through the energy transition and manage their energy portfolio, while stepping up the company's participation in the Spain Energy transition, raise the profile of our business relations, secure sustainable value for the company from an integrated presence along the Spanish energy value chain with a cross-businesses solutions and cross-commodity approach. This will require constant interface with the various teams of SE, specialized in gas, power and environmental products trading, as well other countries in EU, sectors, renewable gas, H2.In line with the growth ambitions of SE, this senior role also encompasses the critical tasks of defining the targeted segments, developing effective channel strategy, establishing and growing external and customers' networks, commercially advocate the SE business in Spain to external counterparties, supporting to develop the business case for country growth (including M&A opportunities) and receive endorsement from the SE Leadership team.For the above reasons, the role will be an essential member of the leadership team of SE Spain in driving a Transformational growth of the business.

The Ideal Candidate

Ensure Compliance & Safety as integral qualities in all activities undertaken.Has strong track record of customer facing commercial experience, P&L responsibility and in-depth industry knowledge in gas and power markets, customer drivers particularly in Spain. Has a proven experience in leading high performance focus commercial team(s)responsible from deal identification through to execution of deals particularly with I&C (Industrial & Commercial) customers. Has a proven ability to build and manage relationships with external stakeholders at different levels up to the CEO level of large & medium corporates. Demonstrates the ability to establish effective ways of working and collaborate across organisational boundaries (trading, businesses, functions etc).Ability to develop and structure product offerings for B2B I&C customers, demonstrating an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset and to pitch them externally. Communicates complex subject matter clearly and simply and identifies the key messages for stakeholders. Ability to understand, structure and explain complex deal structures / strong understanding of business value drivers and ability to challenge. Represent the market insights, challenges and opportunities arising from the local market to SE LT.Preferably has a deep understanding of European energy markets, including market dynamics, key counterparties, regulatory framework, and competitive landscape.Demonstration of leadership capability through the leadership attributes of authenticity, growth, collaboration, and performance.Strong can-do mindset, driven for results yet highly resilient, comfortable working in fast-paced environment, is comfortable in managing change and dealing with ambiguity, and has the ability to adapt based upon changing business contexts and think independently.Required: Fluency in Spanish and English.
