As a National Key Account Manager at Jordan-Martorell-SL, your expertise, background, and unique skillset create growth and value in the evolving logistics market. You will join a successful sales team as part of our international network.
We are strategic consultants who understand our customers' needs and propose solutions that add value and build long-lasting partnerships. Your role will be to develop an industrial and automotive vertical with a national scope, based in Madrid or Barcelona.
Your Responsibilities- You will directly engage with key accounts, developing strong relationships between the customer and Kuehne+Nagel's network.
- You will actively plan and execute key account strategy, defining our value proposition and solution approach on RFQs and tenders.
- You will proactively identify new opportunities to increase our business footprint and solutions with assigned customers, ensuring an attractive pipeline and high closing ratio.
- You will regularly conduct structured review sessions to align customers with their strategy and priorities, adjusting our value proposition and offering continuous improvement and innovation.
- You will competently connect virtual account teams, ensuring true global customer representation and collaborating with related Key Account Manager networks globally.
- You will successfully control monthly performance, monitoring volume, profitability, pipeline, overdues, and taking immediate action in case of deviations.
- You will effectively hand over new business to ensure that customer requirements and commitments are met.
- You have completed an academic degree, ideally in logistics.
- You have 3+ years of experience in logistics, sales, and key account management.
- You possess strong leadership skills to drive key account initiatives across geographies and establish a strong sense of direction for the team.
- You have in-depth knowledge of the industrial sector or similar fast-paced industries.
- You have high customer orientation and strong communication skills for building collaborative relationships within the customer organization and Kuehne+Nagel.
- You have a strategic mindset for developing effective solutions, incorporating industry trends, and delivering continuous improvement.
- You are willing to nurture team engagement and build a global community of colleagues and customers collaborating for mutual success.
- You have working proficiency in English.
