Business Development Manager

About the role
We are looking for a

Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team in Arrow ECS Spain who will be responsible Developing Business at the Data Center Business Unit.

Principal Accountabilities
-
Growing & Developing The partner Community

  • Hunt for new partnerships.
  • Proactively calls and engages potential new and established partners to grow sales for assigned Vendors / Technologies.
  • Rebuilds underpenetrated and neglected partner relationships.
  • Develop the knowledge in the partner community.

Demand Generation

  • Drives sales growth through building new partner relationships.
  • Focus on calling and engaging with new partners to grow our business within the Business Unit.
  • Leverages Arrow and vendor programs and promotions to progress a transaction through the sales cycle.
  • Signs on new partners to the Arrow network.

Partner Support

  • Manages vendor special pricing programs including submissions for pricing request and any data or program dependencies, tracking requests for approval.
  • Develop the knowledge in the partner community concerning Vendor products, Solutions, campaigns, and channel program.
  • Processes quotes for specified customers and/or quote revisions for mass price changes, program changes or part changes.
  • Prepare orders, from quote work if applicable, for submission based on receipt of the customers' purchase orders ensuring that all required information for accurate processing is included.

  • Public speaking and/or presentation skills.
  • Strong assessment/prioritization skills.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to create positive impressions with customers, business partners and staff.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Programs (Excel, Power BI, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Some knowledge of Navision or any other ERP.
  • College experience helpful (preferably in business, marketing, sales or similar major).
  • Native or Proficient Spanish speaker and good level of English.
