Key ResponsibilitiesPartnering with the Franchise Lead and the crossfunctional Brand Team to develop the strategic and tactical plansMonitor business environment and adjust sales plans accordingly in alignment with the Franchise LeadEnsure execution of the sales plans in close alignment with marketingAchieving or exceeding individual and team objectivesMonitoring sales department budget ensuring strategic resources allocationProviding timely and accurate sales data to the Franchise Lead including forecasts, sales reports, SFE metrics reports, business intelligence reportsEnsuring all customer interactions are uploaded onto the CRM system in a timely fashionMaximizing interaction with key physicians by networking within accounts and at commercial / medical meetings.
Developing relationships with new customers to unlock potential growth opportunities.Maintaining a regular and contentrich contact with the field team arranging appropriate individual and team meetingsCoaching and developing sales teamEnsure the sales team works according to Alexion Values, Business Ethics following Compliance and Quality requirements as per Alexion policies QualificationsDegree in sciencesPreferably with a postgraduate degree in business / marketing Professional ExperienceMore than 10 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with experience in rare diseasesAt least 5 years as sales managerTrack record in commercial success in the hospital settingLeadership experience Marketing experiencePreferable with experience in nephrology, hematology and/or neurology SkillsLeadership attitude:
positive, empathetic, with determination, and ability to communicate effectivelyTeam player and strong ability to collaborate with other functionsAnalytical mindsetResults oriented Ability to successfully resolve issues/problem solvingHigh level of English (B2)
