The challenge
Our business unit export Europe is responsible for the worldwide sales and marketing of our brands. We believe that strong local partnerships are key to building long-term, sustainable brands. Achieving this is a joint effort of our sales and marketing colleagues operating worldwide.
To further strengthen our Spain sales team, we are looking for a National Account Manager.

As a national account manager, you are responsible for generating sales through developing and maintaining strong relationships with our local partners.

Our Spain sales team has built a firm foundation of retailers and partners. The out-of-home channel is a growing market. Business development, brand management, investments, and (data) analytics are important aspects of this role. Within your region, you act as an entrepreneur to build businesses in a sustainable way.

What are you going to do?

  • As National Account Manager, you lead sales for Spain in retail and ontrade.
  • You strengthen local partnerships and look for new business opportunities and routes to market.
  • Together with our marketers and strategic partners, you deploy the value management and brand marketing programs.
  • Furthermore, you coach our partners and develop, negotiate, and align with our current and future partners' plans for the respective countries.
  • As National Account Manager you report directly to the General Manager Export.

Who are you?

  • You have a commercial bachelor's degree or, ideally, a master's degree, combined with 5 to 10 years of experience in an international sales role.
  • Commercial experience in the FMCG market is a must.
  • Furthermore, you are a proven relationship builder with a track record of driving value growth through brands.
  • You are fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • You are based in Spain and willing to travel around the country.
  • Frequent visits to our head office in the Netherlands will apply.
