JOB SUMMARY:Kensing, LLC delivers high-quality and natural anionic surfactants, esters, sterols, and vitamin E, used in the Personal Care, HI&I and Nutrition markets.

Set to achieve nearly $400MM in 2023, Kensing is poised for significant innovation and growth with our customer base of global blue-chip consumer product companies.

We are seeking high performing Key Account Managers with a strong track record of building strategic customer relationships and driving opportunities to closure.

Leading and owning total customer experience while exceeding growth initiatives. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced enterprise with team-focus and a high level of communication across a matrix environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Strategic Account Management
  • Build and maintain highvalue, strong working relationships with current and new accounts in NA identifying customer needs and providing appropriate sales support to maintain and grow both existing and new business.

Sales Planning

  • With a strong track record of sales growth in previous roles, meet or exceed annual sales goals and growth budget setting both strategy and targets for customer growth in the assigned territory.

Customer Engagement

  • Frequently conduct customer inperson and virtual visits. As the Kensing primary point of contact in all commercial matters, build strong relationships with customer stakeholders at multiple levels within their organization.
  • Develop a robust
    understanding of customers key needs and requirements while enhancing trust to resolve any potential problems or complaints.
  • Maintain and communicate
    customer forecasting and ordering needs aligning with Kensing Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and Plant Operations to ensure propre inventory planning and production schedules.
  • Maintain
    customer pricing file and communication on contract and market adjustments +/.
  • Manage spot business/rush offers as needed.

Market Intelligence and Industry Trends
  • Monitor, analyze and report on potential new product opportunities capturing competitive activities while engaging customer's interest and needs.

Sales Reporting (Salesforce CRM)
  • Maintain timely and accurate customer records including call reports, a robust
    opportunity pipeline that drives longterm sustainable growth for both Kensing and the customer, strategic account plans, market/competitive intelligence, and lead documentation.

Internal Collaboration/Kensing Team
  • Continual engagement and communication with internal stakeholders including Supply Chain, Technical and Regulatory, Legal and Finance, and Business Units to create a timely 'best' solution for the customer extracting maximum value.
  • Continuous engagement of
    Customer Care, Shipping and Operational Logistics to ensure Kensing is meeting customer needs and requirements.
  • Keep up to date with changes and updates in the product portfolio and in the market.
  • Keep up to date on feedstock and upstream developments that impact product price movements.
  • All other duties as assigned.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Required Education:bachelor's degree (chemistry, chemical engineering, or business administration, marketing).

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 58 years' experience in sales with proven success building and maintaining longterm commercial relationships. Experience selling ingredients and other related chemistry in Food, Pharma, PC & HI&I preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SPECIALIZED SKILLS:

  • Consummate professional with a strong commercial understanding acting with integrity and confidentiality.

  • Deep understanding of order to cash process preferred.
  • Sound computer skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, and CRM (Salesforce).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
