Job Summary:
MPS is seeking an energetic, efficient, self-motivated and resourceful team player to be a member of its Facility Administration staff supporting for our local office activities in Barcelona as well as for other European subsidiaries.
Essential Functions:
- Leads collaborative environmental, health and safety projects across all operations sites in Europe.
- Leads and deploys execution of facility security program.
- Provides guidance on environment, health & safety matters to all stakeholders within designated area of responsibility.
- Ensures compliance with environmental, health and safety regulatory requirements.
- Ensures emergency response plans are in place and aligned with local regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Participates in strategic planning to drive environmental sustainability projects.
- Maintains reporting for our ESG program. (+ LEED)
- Attends inspections or audits government agencies, municipality government, etc.
- Supervises facility set up and maintenance coordinating with service providers, tracking agreements (AC/heating/fire extinguishing system, electrical installations etc.).
- Support for ad hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in H&S Engineering / Technical Engineering or related field
- Training in Project management and Continuous Improvement methodologies ( Kaizen, 5's, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Facility management experience is highly valuable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and organization skills.
- Advance knowledge of Excel, PM software,etc.
- Fluent in Spanish, Catalan and English (C1) (other EU language is a +)
